Avenue Supermarts Limited, which runs the DMart retail chain, has acquired more than 70,000 sq ft of commercial space in Thane for ₹99.27 crore.
Mumbai real estate: Avenue Supermarts Limited, the company that operates the DMart retail chain, has purchased commercial space spread across multiple floors of a building in Thane near Mumbai for nearly ₹100 crore.
According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, Avenue Supermarts acquired commercial premises measuring more than 70,000 sq ft in the Kolshet area of Thane. The deal was registered on June 30, 2026.
The transaction includes the ground floor, first floor, second floor, and third floor, along with an upper basement parking space in the commercial building.
The total area purchased by Avenue Supermarts is around 6,530.86 square metres, which is approximately 70,298 sq ft.
The company bought the property from Regency Shelters LLP. As part of the transaction, Avenue Supermarts paid around ₹6.94 crore as stamp duty.

The Bengaluru transaction involved multiple floors of a commercial building in Panathur Village, Varthur Hobli, Bengaluru East. The property had a built-up area of around 1.70 lakh sq ft along with an undivided land share of nearly 43,560 sq ft.
DMart is one of India's leading supermarket chains, offering a wide range of products including food items, daily-use goods, personal care products, general merchandise, and clothing.
The company's first store was opened in Mumbai in 2002. According to company information, DMart had 387 stores as of December 31, 2024, across several Indian states and regions, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi-NCR, and others.
The retail chain is operated by Avenue Supermarts Limited, founded by billionaire investor Radhakishan Damani.

In May 2026, Derive Trading and Resorts Private Limited, a company associated with Radhakishan Damani, leased a luxury apartment in Mumbai's Worli area to One SGG Ventures LLP, an entity linked to Sanjay Ghodawat Group.
The luxury apartment, located in Oberoi Three Sixty West, measures around 6,831 sq ft and was leased at a monthly rent of ₹27.5 lakh for five years. The total rental commitment during the lease period is estimated to be more than ₹18 crore.
Earlier, in December 2025, Adani Logistics Ltd leased around 66,250 sq ft of warehousing space in Raigad district near Mumbai to Avenue Supermarts. The long-term lease deal was valued at more than ₹100 crore for nearly 28 years.
